Recently, I've been making games other than escape games, so it's been a while since I've been making escape games. This time, it's a pattern that goes to the back, which is common in escape games I make. Personally, it's easier to go straight like this than to move one room from side to side. If the screen configuration divides one room into north, south, east, and west, it depends on the player, so even if you intend to make it so that it is not difficult to understand by yourself, it may be easy to create unintended incomprehension. ...... Well, it's a story about making a game that includes it and makes it feel good ^^; Perhaps I feel that the escape game I make will go a little deeper in the future, so it may be that I may just say, "This configuration is the standard for our escape game." ..
